The art of invention

Invention is a concept/idea that so many aspire to achieve. My friends and I often think of things we could invent to make life easier. This especially happened when we had small children and thought, "the world could be easier only if..." This sparked an abundance of conversations.

Invention has also been the topic of movies, Iron Man is one of the best examples. Tony Stark invents the Iron Man to escape from those who captured him and tried to kill him and to save the world from those who would wish to harm others. He states in Iron Man 2 that he has "Privatized world peace."

In the story, Flash of Genius, Robert Kearns created the intermittent windshield wipers. His invention was taken by a motor company and he was not given credit. Throughout the story, he claims that it is "the principle" behind the fight he endured. He fought to get credit and sued the motor company.

Both of these stories speak to the idea that invention is a matter of mind and a pursuit to make better whatever the goal. For some, invention is to build a better world. For others, it is to foster a deep seeded desire to be more and make a contribution. Look at the following video Miniatur Wunderland . Here is an invention that asks the viewer many questions. One question is Why?

Why spend so much time on this idea?

What does it take to do this intellectually, mentally and emotionally? [As the creator and designer]

As a viewer, what do we appreciate about it?

What parts of the human condition do they capture and are those parts needed to get the enjoyment?
What do you think they need to add?

I believe they spent so much time on the Miniatur Wunderland because they wanted to make it appealing so that people would come to visit it. To come up with this idea and to make it would take a person who is very creative in personality and has a lot of patients to be able to deal with problems that occur when setting up lights or building things. Also, the person setting it up would need to have very steady hands so they don't knock other things over. The creator has to be skilled in electricity as well.
Viewers of this invention most likely have an appreciation for the way it models real life activities. The mini humans's experiences captured in the invention to model and mirror those of real humans today. This aspect of the invention is needed to get viewers attention and keep it because people tend find enjoyment in things they can relate to.
I think it would be interesting to see seasons added to this invention. For example, they could put in, somehow, leaves falling or snow falling. Things like that would be interestiong.

The makers of the Miniatur Wunderland most likely spent so much time on this project for multiple reasons. One being they wanted to have more tourist atractions, so they add in something that will not only have the person taking a vacation to Germany, but to many other places in the world as well. The producers may have simply wanted to give people who do not get the opportunity to travel to see this attraction so they can get a sense of vacation and seeing marvelous sights. To complete this project successfully, the producers must have the desire to keep the attraction going. Intellectually, they must have the knowledge of computer skills because, as in the video, there is a numerous amount of computers needed to run this production. The producers must be educated in all of the different places that are being displayed so the viewers receive credible information. Mentally and emotionally, the inventors must have that drive and heart to complete and continually perfect the project. They must also be able to deal with any problems that arise instead of becoming flustered and frustrated where they simply give up. We as the viewers must appreciate all of the hard work and dedication put into this project. We can also appreciate the beauty and detail that put into this display.
In this display, the producers captured the way of life in certain places, the different life styles, the different areas, and different types of terrain in all these multiple places. Since i myself have not seen this exhibit, I do not know all the multiple human conditions presented in this display.
Once again, since I have not seen this production, I do not know what the producers should add. I could say that the producers might want to add in more places if they do not have them all, they could ask different people from all of tehse places to come in and suggest some changes that the makers could add to their specific locations, and finally, maybe the producers could add in the different seasons in the exhibit.
If we did not have new inventions, our world would hit stall. Society would not develop, and nothing would be learned. Education would never have new discoveries, and nobody would ever learn anything. Thankfully, we do have these inventors and our world will continue to prosper.

They spent so much time on Miniatur Wunderland because they want everyone to be able to experience the world, but on a smaller scale. To create such a world, a person must be enterprising and patient. They must be very skilled in mechanical engineering. Viewers must be excited about the world around them and open to the possibilities of other places.

i think they spent so much time on the Miniatur Wunderland because they wanted to make more attractive than just plain so people would visit more and more. To come up with an idea like this occured to a person who is very imaginary in his mind and has a lot of patients to deal with this kinda thing. As a viewer of this invention i would most likely have a apprehensive design for how the person reflected it to real life. The parts they capture would be the bodies of water and buildings, ancient history bridges and other structures. I don't think they need to add anything because it wouldn't make much a difference if you put something different in the model.

So much time and effert have been put into creating the Miniatur Wunderland becuase it can show the whole world at one time. People can see all the different features of different parts of the world at one place. It takes a long time to perfect every detail and to make all of the scenes accurate. This takes a lot of dedication for those involvled in making the Miniatur Wunderland. If they don't give 110 percent mentally, emotionally, and intellectually, the project will not stand at it's full potential. Everybody involved would have to work as a team to make the diarams work together. Each piece is unique, and very important to the piece as a whole. I appreciate how much time was put into this project. Everything is accurate, detailed, and fun to look at. I like how every part of the world has it's different features and how we can see how similar and how differnt each area is. The way people live their lives varies on where they are in the world, and people can easily see that in the Miniatur Wonderland. If i could add anything to the Miniatur Wunderland, I would add athletes...preferably runners!!

I feel that we spend so much time on this idea because most people haven’t seen the entire world. The Miniatar Wunderworld lets people see what it is like in big cities around the world, in the forests thousands of miles away, and many other places. The creator must have had a strong opinion towards this idea. This project would have taken hundreds of thousands of dollars to complete. It is quite an accomplishment. As a viewer we appreciate the emotion and passion that you see when you look past the actual objects, the designer, inventor, and everyone that helped must have had a very big influence to do it. I think that all of the human emotion and the very detailed activities are not meant for the enjoyment, but I do think that they add to the happiness. I honestly do not know what else they could add. I feel that there is nothing else left that they could add.

so that way you can acually prove that it was done. as a creator i think that itwould take a large amout of care practice and patience to build that set.
i belive that as a viewer we can apriciate the skill and craft's manship that went into it. they showed the charcteristic's of scociety and detail quite well. a bit of it around the world will make it self more popular

I believe they spent so much time on this invention because they wanted it to be accurate so that people would be interesting. This Miniatur Wunderland needs to have a lot of detail if they want it to be accurate. They have to pay attention to the little things that may seem unnoticeable to other people. I believe intellectually it takes good geographical skills and someone who pays attention to detail. Mentally, I believe you would have to have a break or you might get sick of creating it. Emotionally, I believe you would have to have a lot of patience. Personally, I don't believe I would have the skills to create this. So kudos to the creator. Parts of the human condition they capture are the miniature people they have doing things that we as living human beings would do. (Ex. The miniature worker) I believe I would get enjoyment out of the Miniatur Wundeland whether it had people or not, but in my opinion it is an important thing to have if you are going to replicate parts of the world.
I think it would be interesting if they created other parts of the world, too. Besides that, I can tell the creator(s) definately spent a lot of time paying close attention to detail.

I think that they spent so much time on the Miniatur Wunderland because they wanted alot of people to come and enjoy it as they enjoy it. I also think that they spent so much time on it so that it would be 100% of what they want it to be, and so it can be as detailed as possible for an amazing experiance. To be able to make one of these, you have to be incredibly intelligent so that you can figure out how to make the objects light up, move, and be overall as realistic as they can possibly be. Mentally, you must be very patient because you have to pay attention to everything and it would take an incredibly long time. Emotionally, you have to be attached to the project so that you can keep improving it as time goes on, and not just give up on it. As a viewer, we appreciate the ways it represents the real world, and how much time and effort was put into it. They need to capture the way people go about their days, and not have everyone doing the same things. This is needed for the enjoyment aspect so that the viewer doesn't get bored watching the same thing over and over. I think they should add different seasons to the model and add things that people do in the present, like football statiums and such.

I belive that they spent so much time on the Miniatur Wunderland becasue it is a different perspective on teh world we know. It shows daily activity in a busy city , it shows the calm swiss mountains and it takes you through different countries geographies. It is a fun was to see things as you mgiht not be able to normaly. I think that intellectualy this takes a lot because to be able to not only program all those computers, but keep them running day after day , is very difficult and its meticulous work. It is appriciated becasue of its beauty and just being able to see all the pieces and parts working together to form on small, almost lifelike communtiy, and its not like you find something like the Miniatur Wunderland just down the street everyday. ANd it also captures humans so well I think because it shows how we are all linked together and how we are alwasy expanding and i think they should ad to this because there is so much more in the world to show, and putting in the Miniatur Wunderland could make it grow into somthing great, maybe one day showing all the countries in the world

The creators of this Miniatur Wunderland spent so much time on it because they wanted many people to see their wonderful invention and appreciate it, and maybe they were inspired by the beauty of the world and wanted to capture it in a more accessable version. For people to create something such as this, they must be very creative. They must be patient and not get too discouraged when they mess up with a design. They must have an extremely imaginative mind and be able to visualize a detailed design in their mind before bringing it to life. As viewers, we appreciate all of the effort that was so obviously put into making it, and we appreciate the way it symbolizes our lives and our world. They seem to capture all aspects of the human condition; they demonstrate enjoyment, love, and even death! I think we viewers enjoy the way we can picture ourselves as the miniature inhabitants as they're enjoying themselves and going about their everyday lives. If anything were to be added to this invention, it would be something small, such as rain. They could also maybe add a few more locations and countries. It was very interesting to see such an intricate model!

I think that the creators spent so much time on this project because they wanted it to be perfect and have people be able to experience the whole world from just one place. To create something like this is probably stressful intellectually, mentally, and emotionally. They have to know how to use technology to be able to create all of the different things that the world does. They have to have patience because it had to have taken years to create the wonderland. The creators had to be mentally strong because they had to take the time to make sure that every single detail was perfect. As a viewer, I appreciate all the fine details they added to the world. All of the people have faces and they tried to incorporate everyday life into it. They show many parts of human condition. They show social and cultural parts. They show someone being pulled over by the police and they show a fire-eater performing. I think that you do need human condition to get the enjoyment. I think that the airport that they are adding is going to be cool, but I also think that they need to add weather in. They could make it rain or make it snow and show how the weather affects the different places in the world.

I believe that they spend so much time on the Miniatur Wunderland, because it simulates life in various countries, but if they were baised on an all train economy. I say this, mainly because the main topic of that place was trains, and the various countries that use them as a form of transportation. Trains carry a variety of items, such as gas, fruit, paper, and even people, and this wunderland makes them seem more interesting and appealing to those who dont have a greater undrestanding of these trains and their uses. To build this model, it would take patience for time reasons, and the builders would need to very educated to design this massive structure. As A longtime train fanatic, I have always been facinated by the way the real, and scale model, trains work. I appreciate how detailed that the layout was, and how they were able to capture Mount Rushmore in this model. The part of the human condition are not that detailed, even though they were able to capture an average day, and movible cars and boats. they are not detailed, because thay lack the actual human movements, and functions. I think that to make this layout better, thay would have to create tiny scale automatons, in order to simulate actual human movement, and functions.

I think somebody spent so much time and energy making this because it was probably something they always wanted to do. They might have done it to attract tourists and families to make money. But most likely, someone had the time and money to make Wunderland but most importantly the drive to make it happen. Whoever helped make this must have really enjoyed it and wanted to share it with other people. You would have to be very interested in this sort of thing to accomplish everything they did. You would have to be very patient to make this, I know that I would get frustrated with all the small moving parts and would lose interest. I'm guessing creating this was a massive group effort with different people bringing in the necessary skills like computer experts and electricians. What I find fascinating and slightly disturbing is how much details there are and how closely Wunderland mirrors the real world. It’s an incredible invention, but I'm at a loss to explain why someone would build this. I suppose this is because this sort of thing can only capture my attention for so long. I know that after many years I would not be able to continue working of something like this. Anyone who views this will appreciate the time and effort it took to create all this, but I don't know if many people would register the scale of just how much work this took. I notice of the marvelous lights captured my attention, along with the amazing detail and interactive buttons. This allows people to experience different parts of the world all in one place, which I think is great. It would also make a cool trip for a school field trip for kids. As for anything that needs to be added, I think demanding any more of this kind of an invention is a little rude and undermines how much has already been done. However, a suggestion I have is to add is to add more animals in their natural environments, like the Serengeti, and make them trumpet, call to each other, and roar but this is just because I love animals.

I think they spent so much time on Miniatur Wunderland to bring tourists into Hamburg. The creators must have a passion for model trains to begin with and created a masterpeice out of it. Intellectually it probably takes an in depth knowledge of computers. Also how to make the different models and designs that are used. Mentally and Emotionally it probably takes a lot of passion and determination because I imagine doing somthing like that is not easy. As a viewer I liked all the diversity it represented and the everyday things that people and animals do. The parts of the human condition they represent are kids, adults, thin and fat people, people doing everyday activities and dead people. I think those definately add to the enjoyment and makes it even more entertaining. They should add theme parks, and a random dinosaur.

They spent so much time on this project so others can see the beauty of different nations and how alike they are. No doubt it takes determination mentally. Intellectually, it takes knowledge of the world around you. Emotionally it takes the interest in traveling the world. Viewers can appreciate that someone spent so much time on something that didn't have to be done but was. They also can appreciate the persons creativity and skill to make this a 3D model. They added the human condition of driving and speeding tickets. Also, they showed the Many different ways of transportation. They showed many luxurious parts of the world, too. They showed the boats in water, which I personally thought was cool. The showed people doing everyday things. One thing I think they should add is a church or worship area. I also think they should add a hospital. These things would perfect it.

This topic makes it easy for a person to admire the life across the world in a common and easily understandable setting. To design such a 'Wunderland', you need to understand the emotions of people and be able to mentally imagine how they could be represented without using any words and only imagery. Intellectually, you would need to be able to program many computers to work alongside hundreds of separate pieces as if they all have a mind of their own. This task, I imagine, is a highly difficult one that takes a concentrated level of intellect that few of us have. As a viewer, I certainly appreciated the fact that the entire exhibit seemed to flow together and was very lifelike. Not only that, but the creator put so much detail into making his artwork detailed that I couldn't help but stare in awe as my mind calculated how long it would take to create a masterpiece like that. In the Miniatur Wunderland, they created a mixture of people of every shape, size, and colour, which I do think is necessary to create a realistic environment. If you were to see the exhibit full of Barbies and Kens walking around, it wouldn't be lifelike, and it would be obvious to the viewer. I really am cautious about recommending that they add to it, because I find it hard to imagine how long it takes to program an automated vehicle alone. I wouldn't want another addition to take away from the effect that they'd created anyway. I would quite simply conclude that the Miniatur Wunderland is perfect as it is.

Why someone may spend so much time on a trivial thing like a Wunderland would be trying to express some decent meaning in our world. They are trying to put the world together, all parts of it. They are making this as one would make a scarf, weaving many colors and threads together. The creator is intertwining human thought, emotion, and all we have built like a scarf. Using the trains and their tracks as the needles. They would need to be just a little crazy to put so much time into it and think of such an idea, an insomniac to stay up day and night working on it, and really smart so they could compact all human life, and characteristics of certain geographical regions. Viewers probably enjoy the people and very intricate scenes like the beach. They like all the parts that remind them of their own lives, and where they live. This shows characteristics of human life by showing us what we do. They added Casinos, and the old men strolling on the docks. These are part of what defines life, walking with your wife of 50 years, or a man with his sons. The creator of Wunderland did an amazing job at capturing this, so well that there isn't much left to add.

I think they spent so much time on the Miniature Wunderland because they wanted people to see what other places are like, as in the U.S., Not a lot of people knows what the U.S. is like. It also shows how some people can be very creative and make it as a living for those people.
The Wunderland takes a lot of mental usage to make all of the miniature stuff to move, be very detailed, and timing and a lot of money. It also does take a lot of patience too.
I'd appreciate how very detailed it is. Its amazing how the made all the little people, the lights, and the cars, plus the trains.
The Wunderland captures the little kids playing, the people climbing the grand canyon, what others do everyday. The part are indeed needed to get enjoyment.
What the Miniature Wunderland needs is weather. Try to put thunder sounds, flashes of light for lighting, and fake snow. I think it would make it very realistic.

I belive they spent so much time on the miniture wonderland just because they could. To do this you would have to put most of your time and efort into it, it also would make you eather a more interesting person gaining friends or you could loose freind do to the suclution. I apreceate above all else that they used not just one contry and that they represented all countrys not singling out one or two. they make it seem like ordinary life, such as the fire department in action, or the police oficer pulling over some one. They need to add an amusement park

I believe that they spent so much time on the Miniatur Wunderland because they were trying to attract people to see it. If a person could come up with this idea and carry out the plans, they would need to be extremely creative and have alot of desire. They would also have to pay quite alot of attention to detail. I appreciate this alot because my father and I used to build model trains also and this a incredible display. The little details they included in Miniatur Wunderland are remarkbale. The little people breathing fire or going up and down a rope make the display that much more amazing. I also appreciate the size of the model. The human condittion that they capture are the individuals on the beach or the fire trucks on duty. This makes it more enjoyable to view because it really looks real. Some additions that would make the model more interesting would be sporting events and possibly some running races. Even without these though it's still an outstanding model and I would love to travel over and see it.

I think they spend so much time on this idea to let people see the wonder of the world from one place. As a creator they would have to research all the different areas in their miniature world so they can create an exact replica. As a viewer we appreciate the beauty and the craftsmanship of the world. They capture working, lounging, and just walking around. It is somewhat humorous how the people are interacting with other people and objects. They might want to think about adding other famous landmarks like major American cities, South America, and other countries in North America. It is quite amazing how they can capture one moment in time in a diorama.

I think they spent so much time on this Wunderland because they wanted to make it seem as real as they could so people would come visit it and actually want to see it, and then they would tell other people about it and that would lead to more people going to visit the Miniatur Wunderland.
This also takes a lot of imagination or creativity to design this model. They must've had a lot of time on their hands to create this. You've probably got to be good at math and science and know how to use computer softwares to do this also.
As viewers, we appreciate the fact that they tried to make it as real as possible so we could enjoy it more. Another thing we appreciate is that it takes you to places you normally wouldn't go or at least didnt have the time or money to go there. So they made this Miniature Wunderland so you could go to all of these places without having to spend too much money.
The parts of the human condition they capture is people living their daily lives. They also capture some of the activities they like to do in those places. And I think they are needed to get the enjoyment because you can relate to it and it would seem more fun to visit.
Some of the things I think they need to add are some more different countries. They could put in some of the more popular countries that people like to go to and maybe that will get even more people to go because they've either been there or they want to. I think that would be a good idea. They could also put in some rain or snow to make it seem more real with some of the settings they have. And I don't know if they have sounds with it, but if they don't they could add some real life sounds, such as car horns , wind blowing, rain falling...etc. Those would be pretty cool too.

The Miniatur Wunderland was most likely created as a tourist attraction for the people visiting Hamburg, Germany. However, the display gives people who have not had the privilege to travel a chance to see places all around the world without even going there. To create this miniscule world, a creator must have a vivid imagination and would probably have had to visit the places they created first. This way, they can better recreate the experience since they were there themselves. Builders of the invention must be educated in mechanics and electricity. A creator must also be determined, seeing as how an exhibit like this must have taken a great deal of time to construct. Furthermore, artistic ability must have been vital to the demonstration. From the landscapes to the people, every inch of the display is almost lifelike and in great detail. This is probably what viewers enjoy most about it: the fact that the whole show is so realistic. The spectators love the fact that when looking at the exhibit, they feel like they are seeing different parts of the world. This invention shows all different aspects of human life, such as playing in the snow, climbing into a tree house, cheering at sports events, and working at jobs. These parts only contribute to the resemblance of the little world to the real world. One thing that I think would be pretty cool to add might be weather. To show a rainy, April day, the creators could maybe make a mist fall on the display and snow fall on a colder, December day. If they wanted to go even deeper, the designers and creators could make the weather relate to the actual place where the conditions occurs. For example, it could snow on a typical day it would in the United States only over the United States, but at the same time it might not be snowing in another region of the world. So, snow would only fall on a certain part of the scene, but not others.

I believe that they spent so much time on the Miniatur Wunderland because they wanted to show people the world. It must have taken hundreds of thousands of dollars to complete and a whole lot of time. The Creator must have been skilled and patient when it came to his goal of finishing it. As a viewer I enjoy how this invention lets me see the whole world. I get drawn into it by little things I see.
I don't feel like this needs anything added. It would be cool if they did something with the ocean, but trains can't go in the ocean so....

I believe all the time spent in making the Miniatur Wunderland was spent for several reasons. The two main reasons are to attract more guests, and so people who don't get to explore the world can go there and kind of experience it all at once. They want more guests to come so they can share their creation that they worked so hard on. People who don't get to travel much can go and experience it there, and it saves them money, and the time needed to be able to travel to so many places. To design this, you'll have to have knowledge of the geography of where you're building, what the places you're building even look like, and be able to do extreme math problems to be able to get everything to scale. Mentally, you'll need to have a great amount of patience, and have a positive image of how it'll turn out in the end. Emotionally, you'll need to believe in yourself and everyone you're working with.
As a viewer, I appreciate the time they spent in it for us to enjoy. I appreciate all the effort and mental strength they used to make the Miniatur Wunderland.
They capture all kinds of human conditions, like how people look, jobs they have, whether they are alive or not, and more. These parts are most definitely needed to add more enjoyment in the project. It makes it more interesting as a whole. Without them, it would just be trains, and what the places look like, and would seem a bit dead.
I believe what they need to add is a zoo of some sort if they haven't already, and like the video says at the end, an airport. The airport could show guests another way of transportation other than trains and cars, and maybe sometime as technology advances, they could have the airplanes have actual scheduled flights to other countries on the set. That would make the whole thing a bit more interesting, attract more guests, make the creators feel accomplished, and be pretty cool to see.

I think they spend so much time in this idea because they want to have more tourists visit and have this creation appeal to many more people. It takes the designer and the creator to have inspiration and dedication towards the project. They would have to have an artistic ability to make thier vision a reality. As a viewer we appreciate the time and effort put into it. Also, the attention the the wide range of details. They are attempting to show all types of life in society for young and old people. They are needed to get the enjoyment. It would be interesting to see a section for a futuristic look. For example, robots roaming the city.

In the miniatur wonderland I think why they made this is to show all the great places in the world just in a small place where everybody can see it. Also when I see this it makes me think about how someone can think of the whole world and just minimize it and make it part of a huge railway I think it's real neat idea. Also I think the inventor could of added more about each country I mean there is a lot there but i think there is more important things in the world like sporting event fields like where they held the Olympics or the super bowl.

I think we spend so much time on inovation because we are always striving for something bigger and better. But innovation is not something that everyone can acheive. As a society we recognize this and praise those who can acheive it. I have seen the movie Flash of Genius before watching this clip. It's a really good movie. An average man invented the windshield wiper and never got credit for his work. That is a major injustice. Even though he won the court battle the average man still believes that the windsheild wiper was invented by the motor companies. It took a lot of hard work to come up with this idea and it is fair to make this action a recognition.

It takes a lot of work to be an inovator, both physically and mentally. More thought and experimentation is put into the simpilist inovation then meets the eye. When you look on the internet to figure out how something works you can read the explaination and make perfect sense of it. But that innovator had to come up with the idea on thier own. Not only expiernertation but also thought and strength was involved in creating the end result. To be an innovator you need to have a basic background knoeledge of what has already been discovered. using this infromation the innovator the nneeds to put his thinking cap on and experiment with differant ideas until he finds one that will work. This requieres both mental and emotional streength. The innovator needs to be mentally able to come up woth new solutions to the problem and have enough patience emotionaly to keep trying even when thing s do not work out the way the innovator wanted them to.

As a viewer we appreciate how much time and effort wa put into making the minotaur wonderland. the little peices and lights took a lot of thought, energy and perserverance. Some of the landscapes almost look real. I think people will apreciate the Minitur Wonderland, but may never appreciate the time and effort that was put into creating it.

They do a good job of captureing the Human Condition through the cites. Mt. Rushmore is a place many people visit with their families. seeing the modle may bring back fond memories. the Minitour Wonderland alse is culturally diverse. the etrain travels through many differant cultural regions. Differant Countries are incorperated into the one model. It is kind of like traveling around the world without evert leaving one room. These parts are deffinatly needed to create enjoyment. The Human Connection lets people engage in the Minitur Wonderland. They can look at the differant place and connect experiances from their own life to the wonderland. The model creates a lot of enjoyment for the visitor as well as memories. Those two things are essiential to the success of the Minitur Wonderland. I think that sound would be a cool feature to add.

spending more time on an idea shows that we believe that the idea should be further developed and that it merits greater work. i believe that invention happens in the mind, so intellectually, mentally and emotionally it takes a very small toll. however, we must also consider the burden of actually putting the idea into practice. this takes a huge toll of the mind and body.

Viewers appreciate many things about the Miniatur Wunderland, including the attention to detail, the artistic thought, and the variety you find inside.

the Wunderland captures carefree happiness, hardworking individuals, and everything in-between. these are both needed to help guests partake in the enjoyment. i dont think that they needed to add anything to the design because it was designed to show everything that is human, including technology.

I think their goal in this invention was to show the greatness of our world. The beauty of the natural landmarks, and of the man-made ones, and everything that we are lucky to have; like buses, cars, airplanes, trains, buildings, and more.
To create this you would need patience, money, and an understanding of our world, not just the physical features of it either. To understand what kind of people are in the world, where they would go, and just how we function. Also, the intellect used to make everything to scale, and in the right place, and have the whole earth made into one very realistic model.
I appreciate the effort that was put into this. I honestly don't think that I would have the patience to do this, put it toghether, and do all the research to find exactly where everything goes. It's just outstanding. And how realistic it looks is just incredible!! How everything moves, how they change the lights from night to day, how the people move in normal actions, and the detail. I actually thought that as they were describing it they were showing actual footage of the real-life thing! This model is just unreal!!
I think the humans character was captured perfectly. Some worked, some played, they went to events, they moved around, they were different sizes, and the amazing thing is that almost none of the humans in that model are exactly the same (I say almost because of twins). Even the actions that the humans did, like where they were, what they did, and the fact that there was a dead man floating in a river was...incredible, awesome, deppressing, I mean, my jaw dropped. And it's sad because that stuff, like unnatural deaths, actually happen in our world. But I also think that it's amazing because the creator was able to capture this so well.
I think that the human actions in this model contribute to its epic-ness, because we can better relate to this model by seeing "oursleves" in the model.
I don't think that there is anything more that can be added. One thing that I didn't notice was much destruction or poor life. Other than the dead man and the house that was turned over, I didn't see much deppression. I know this makes me sound like I'm a dark and depressed person, but our world is what it is because of the good and bad combined. Maybe show some poor quality homes, earthquakes, a house on fire, maybe even some violence. I think that this model was invented to show our world all in one place. Unless the point of this model is to show only the good in the world, I think it could be improved by adding the darker side of our world.
I think this model and typing this response slighty changed the way I think about our world. But in a good way.

i believe they spent so much time on the Miniatur Wunderland because they were encouraging people all around the world to come visit and see what its all about. i think they want people to get a look that one invention can be so small but has so much to say and show. i think they spent so much time so others who maybe can't travel all around the world can get a glimpse of what the rest of the world looks like. this invention takes a large amount of patience, time and creativity. it also requires the electronic ability of making the invention work and having interactive parts for guests to use. as a viewer we appreciate the effort the designers put in and the fact we can see many different places around the world in just one day. we appreciate the interactive parts included in the invention and how it is able to keep are attention while being very interesting. they capture the human conditions of all types of different humans such as; little kids, women, men, skinny people, fat people, living people and dead people. those parts keep the invention enjoyable because it resembles human society and what happens in the places the invention displays instead of just buildings, open land, and historical places. i think the inventors should add the ability to show day or night, and rain or snow.

I think they spent so much time on this invention because they wanted to capture views of the world that maybe not everyone would be able to see, or visit directly.
This type of idea takes an extreme attention to detail intellecually. Mentally, an appreciation for reality and daily behavior of humans and the flow of todays society. Emotionally, it must take a level of boredom, however, also a love for people and society in it's 'everyday'.
As a viewer, I appreciate the attention and capturing of detail. I also appreciate the incorporation of diversity.
They capture the true and detail and diverstiy of reality which is highly necessary for enjoyment. If it was not there it would be incredibly strange, unfamiliar and unnatural.
If they needed to add something, they should add more interaction between the people in the Wunderland.

I think that so much time was spent because the creators wanted to allow the audience to see what the rest of the world looks like and so they can make a profit. To make this type of invention you would need to be patient so that all problems could easily be fixed. You would also need to be extremely artistic and lastly good with computers. viewers most likely appreciate the hard work and the artistic detail that is put into the work. I think it would be cool if they added some type of interaction with moving parts that way the viewers can enjoy more of the things in the model. - jake brown

i think that the people who built th miniature wunderland spent so much time on it because they enjoyed building models, and because they wanted to creat something that could show people all of the wonders of the world in one lifelike place. To build a model like this, the builder would have to be patient, because it would take many many man hours to build something with this much detail, and they would have be able to deal with problems and not get all worked up when things go wrong.i think people appreciate the miniature wunderland because its a miniature version of the world, and for most people, thats the only way they will ever know what everything looks like. i also beleive that people appreciate it because they can see all the hard work and time that the builders put into making it. The model captures skinny people, fat people, men, women, and children. it also captures things in everyday life like people at sporting events, shopping, skiing, and even speeding. i beleive these parts are needed for enjoyment because they make it more lifelike than if there was nothing going on, and it was just a huge model of all of the countries. I think that it would be kind of kewl if they added an amusement park with rides and food stands. I aslo think that it would be interesting if they added a concert with music, and fans. but even without either of those things, the model is still an breathtaking.

I think people spent so much time on this model to get the love and appreciation from the people on the finished product. To create an amazing model like this youneed consentration, a steady hand, a lot of time, and a lot of skill. Us viewers appreciate that part of our country was put in the model and how much time and skill it took to make the Miniature Wunderland. I don't think they need to add anything to the model because they have just about everything. They have anything from airplanes, cars, trains, the Grand Canyon, and neon lights in Vegas that light up every 15 minutes.

The Miniatur Wunderland provides an overview of the world and tourist attractions all in one location. It allows viewers to take a trip around the world without traveling to more than one place, in Hamburg, Germany, where this attraction is located. The creators and designers of this contraption would need to be extremely patient with putting together every detail. The time consuming process would require a mental strength and determination many lack. These people must have emotional stability, not easily frustrated, and the will to stay calm. The Miniatur Wunderland portrays the typical display of scenery, people, and situations that would be present at the represented locations. The buildings, cars, monuments, cities, landmarks, trains, and people are realistically displayed in such a way that one would be able to extract the experience of physically being present at the location being imitated. The fact that tourist may interact with the Wunderland and cause components of the structure to move gives the visitors enjoyment. Also, not having to travel the world to see the world adds to the enjoyment factor of this visitation.

I think that the people who built Miniatur Wunderland built it so people can come to one place and be able to see the world. Intellectually to be able to build the Miniatur Wunderland the creator and the designer would have to know about diffrent places around the world and also the mechanics of how the trains work. Mentally they would have to not give up and be able to push through all the obsticals that they run into. Emotionally they would have to be able to deal with they strees and anger that comes with building it. Viewers appreciate the Miniatur Wunderland by all the creativity and detail work put into it that make it interesting. In Miniatur Wunderland the human condition is catured by the people cheering in the stands the cars moving on the streets and the police and fireman. These parts are what helps make it enjoyable for people. Though they could and a few more thing like people walking and moving down the street, the diffrent seasons, and some real live animals like fish in the lakes

I believe the makers of this project spent so much time on this idea because they were very inspired to do it, and not because they wanted to make money.
It takes a lot of durabilty to do something that doesn't need to be done and yet still takes so much time to make.
Viewers enjoy many close details in the project that take so much effort to make.
It also shows people in their everyday lives, which is very enjoyable to the viewers, though not needed to get the enjoyment since there are so many miraculous buildings that attract most of the attention.
I think the only thing that needs to be added is appropriate music for each region, which the viewers will appreciate just as much as the rest of the project.

I think that it would take along time to do and to have patients to set up the towns. Also, it do all the little piece for the different places. I know as a viewer of it i really apperiate what they did and how they put everything together! I think it would be really cool to see how everything works and what it would look like up close in person.

People spend a lot of time on projects for many different reasons. The people who worked on the Miniatur Wunderland may have spent so much time on it because they were fascinated by the nations of the world, and wanted the people who didn't have enough money to see the world to experience it through their invention. They may also have spent a lot of time on it because they wanted people to come to Germany and other countries, which may help the global economy.

To invent this project, the people who worked on it must have been immensely creative and intelligent. They must also have the time to work on the project, which is extremely time consuming.

Miniatur Wunderland is appreciated by many for various reasons. I appreciate Muniatur Wunderland because of the amount of dedication, creativity, and pure brilliance needed to complete it. I also appreciate Miniatur Wunderland because it captures the wonders of the world in detailin a display.

The creators of Miniatur Wunderland include crucial elements of humanity like love, death, crime, justice, and enjoyment. These elements are crucial to the enjoyment of Miniatur Wunderland because without these elements, just the landscape would be portrayed, which would be meaningless without human emotions.

The people who created Miniatur Wunderland should add celebrities, athletes, and famous speakers and novelists. They should include their homes and places where they visit often. The creators could also add seasons to make Miniatur Wunderland more intruiging.

The creators of Miniatur Wunderland did an amazing job. I would love to go visit it one day.

In order to make something perfect, or as good as it can be, one must spend time and effort in it. Why go to a few lame trains? That, in my opinion, is why the creators of Miniatur Wunderland spent so much time on their simulated world.
It certainly takes a lot of effort. Intellectually, one must be able to think everything through, as well as observe the model's actual resemblance. Mentally and emotionally, it would take a toll on me because of a enormous project that would take seemingly forever and a huge effort. I often have trouble finishing projects, and this would be one of the biggest.
I appreciate the effort going into this task: making it resemble the actual cities and buildings they were built to resemble, plotting all the computer programming and electrical circuits, and maintenance need to upkeep such a huge mechanical 'world'.
I believe that the human likeness certainly adds to the effect, and without it the world would definitely be a little 'less'. They capture humanity rather well, however.
If I was to add something, I would start to make the humans a little more lively, a little more human. I understand this is a huge task, with all their humans, but it would benefit the overall 'tone', so to speak. Almost everything that moves in real life moves in the Miniatur Wunderland, except the humans. This would be the final step to a truly mechanical world.

I think they spent so much time on the Wonderland to let out their creativity and to show their apreceation of landmarks in the world. Intellectually, it takes someone who is good in construction to be able to create such detailed buildings and good in mechanics in order to have the interacting characters and trains. Mentally and Emotionally, they would have to be able to concentrate to spend so much time creating this. They would also need to be able to cope with stress when things go wrong.
As viewers, we appreciate the detailed artwork in the Wonderland and all of the different monuments recreated. The Wonderland captures humans going about their everyday lives and celebrations. Everything is so lifelike. They are needed for enjoyment because if it were just buildings and landscape, our attntion wouldn't be drawn to it. It's exciting to watch the miniature figures go about their business in cars, carnivals, and playing in the snow. We enjoy seeing the movement of things and it makes everything all the more interesting. I think the Wonderland should add open houses and buildings to show what different families do inside the home. It would help learn about culture and how others outside the world we know live.

I belive that they spend put so much time and money into this invention because they like what they do. They probably find this to be very interesting, and thats why the constantly prefect it. Another reason they may be spending so much time on it is because of the money that they earn from it. They want it to be perfect because of the money the people spend to see it. Intellecutally, I think you have to be very very smart. You probably have to have gradutated from college with the degree needed and have passed high in your class. Mentally you probably have to now what to do at all times wether its routine, or its a panic. Emotionally, you have to want to do it. You probably also have to be at a stable level emotionally so that you aren't distracted when your on the job. As a veiwer you appreciate the distinct detail of every thing. The lights in Vegas, the trains, cars and trucks, and even the detail in houses and buildings is amazing. They capture the human ways by showing them walking down the streets or standing outside there house. They even show them at a job site. I think that these parts are used to give enjoyment to people looking at it because this shows everyday life of ordinary people and it shows what they do. I think that they should add more monuments and important places in the world. More people will want to see it if there is more to it. Thats what i think about the Miniatur Wunderland.

I think that they took so much time working on the Miniatur Wunderland because they wanted to make the piece very different and outstanding. This invention represents many parts of the world and I think that since they knew that they had the time and materials, then they would make their hard work and dedication pay off.Intellectually, it takes a lot of thought to think of a plan and try to think of what every part of the wunderland should be like. Keeping in mind details, colors, measurements and so on. Mentally, the designer has to keep in mind the requirements that are necessary for the invention. They have to have patience throughtout the whole making of the wunderland especially because it's a really large invention. Emotionally, they have to sacrifice a lot of their time and ask themselves how dedicated they really are to this project. They have to think of something creative that is very uncommon to other people's eyes. As a viewer, the fact that I can go to a place and see the world right there, makes it amazing. Maybe I can't travel the whole world like I've wanted to, but I can atleast get a sense of what it would be like. They capture everyday human conditon like people driving, getting pulled over by cops, fire trucks on the road,, people working, people on the beach and so on.For enjoyment, the pose people in situaions that are convenient yet unexpected in a persons life. I honestly don't think that they need to add anything else because they capture an excellent example of the different places in the Wunderland. It looks almost so realistic because of all the small details that help make the invention so powerful and very interesting.

First of all, wow! That was an amazing minature model. I believe so much time was spent on this idea and creation because it is a not only a work of art and an incredable invention, but also a tour of countries around the world. I don't think Miniatur Wunderland was just for a tourist attraction, but for others to marvel at countries people, culture, landmarks and the land itself.
As the creater and designer I can agree that it is a combination of intellectual, mental and emotional work. The designer had to have the creative and imaginative idea to develop this wonderland. I can only guess the amount of mental drive, and desire it took to complete such a large and detailed creation. Lastly, the emotional thought and detail that went into this invention is overwhelming, and defeintley was not put together in a day.
As a veiwer I appreciate the time, and deatil that went into this project. One can see the hardwork, people's time and technology that went into it, and how specific and accurate the model of parts of the U.S.A were.
Without a doubt the human conditions in Miniatur Wunderland make the most enjoyment of the piece. The human interacitons with one another, such as the scene of the beach, and boats and cars, the people are so diverse. This Wunderland captures the different ethnic groups of people ranging from color of skin, to shape and size, to what they are doing. It was so realistic to see people around the world and how the model is just like reality. The human conditions of the houses and places where the people are contribute a huge amount to the enjoyment, including the animals, that was pretty funny!
Wiht all the detail, and the 150 interactions, tourist can do, I really cannnot think of anyhting else that would need to be added. Everything to me looked real, and natural. Miniatur Wunderland to me, is what invention is all about, creative thinking, doing, experimenting, and time consuming.

I believe that the creators of the Wunderland took so much time planning, and making, it so that it would be as realisric as possible. I think they wanted it to feel like the visitors there were not only in that museum, but all around the world where they may not really be able to visit some day. I think the people designing and actually building the scenes, would have to be extreemly patient. If something fell down or broke, they would have to be able to pick it up again and do it without caring. They would have to have a very creative and artisic mind also. Being a viewer of the video, I appreciate all the effort put into this. I think it is amazing how some people would come together and build such a thing. I would hope to go here one day, so I can get the feeling of being in many places, though I am only in one. I think they captured just everyday life in the right way. With all of the little figures, they made them doing regular things; walking the dog, working, etc. I think that that makes it much more realistic than if there were no people. I think some cool things they could add are just some more cities that aren't there now, seasons and precipitation, and natural disasters such as tornadoes and earthquakes.

Because invention is the key to change which is a cool thing to think about. You would have to be, as a person, very intellectual, and you need to be able to pursue what you're aiming to create without doubt, and you have to be emotionally strong. Well we 'should'
appreciate everything about it. If inventions were never made, we would still be in the stone age or whatever.
In the Wunderland they set up with human figures a bunch of real life situations and scenarios. No they are not needed, the best part of the Wunderland is the realistically designed natural landscape.
They need to add dolphins going up and down in the water, islands, and weather.

I think they spent a lot of time on the Miniatur Wunderland because it is a major attraction to persuade tourists. It is very difficult mentally and intelectually because you have to know the percise measurements and scales to represent the actual thing, and emotionally to have the patience, persistence and dedication put into the project. As viewers, we find it so amusing because it acts as the real thing and it's intricate designs brings out the significance of the actual project, plus it is really interesting to be able to see that much in just a little design. The parts that they capture that i think bring some enjoyment are the actul real-life situations that may be happening at the present time, such as the stadiums and the people in the stands. I personally don't think there is much to add, but i would like to see some human motion on the project.

I believe people put so much time into this Miniatur Wunderland so everyone can see the interesting ways of human life and reflect on their own lives. I think as a creator the people must've had patience and perserverence because things may not have worked out in the beginning. As a viewer I appreciate the all of the small details and some of the more humorous aspects; for example the dead person and the skinny Santa coming out of the outhouse(no likes a skinny Santa). They capture the aspects of life and death, the beauty of nature, even some of the more entertaining ideas of people (penguins on vacation and Santa). They need to add some of the more negative parts of our culture, like poverty and natural disasters.

To make this project so mesmerizing the creators needed patience and a wide imagination and a careful hand to make every little deatail perfect. I think they spent so much time on the Minatur Wunderland because they wanted to attract tourism to Hamburg and they thought that it was a cool idea that needed to be brought to life. To complete this, the workers would have to have a good knowledge of mechanics and electronics, with plenty of patience. People who view the invention may have a sense of awe and appreciation for the amount of time and money it must have taken for them to create something so astonishing. If they were to add anything to it, they should add seasons, changes in weather, and something to make the human motion more realistic.
